“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:2)
God is the Owner, Provider, and Lord of everything. As the Owner, he appointed us His administrators and expects from us complete faithfulness –even unto death (Revelations 2:10.)
These truths are the cornerstone of our teachings at Crown Financial Ministries.
The idea that God owns it all and we must be His faithful stewards is a Biblical concept readily accepted by the Body of Christ around the world. The daily application of this Biblical truth at home, work, and ministry is what we desire.
Application for Crown Financial Ministries.
• We run the ministry for the Lord and His Kingdom. We seek first the Kingdom of God, trusting that all other things will be added unto us. (“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 NKJV)
• We honestly and truly seek His will when it is time to make decisions. We ask, “What is right?” instead of “What is more convenient or profitable?” We ask, “What would Jesus do?” And, “What is God’s will in this case?” We never apply situational ethics to our decision-making process.
• We adhere to the concept of the “Kairos” –seeking and waiting for “God’s perfect time-” as in Galatians 4:4.
• We adhere to the concept of seeking “Grace” in the eyes of God and man -as found in Genesis 6:8 (“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” NKJV); Exodus 33:12-17, and Proverbs 3:4 (And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. NKJV) . “One day of Grace is worth a thousand days of labor.”
• God is the owner of all of our Intellectual Property. All of Crown’s IP comes from God and belongs exclusively to Him. We endeavor to be faithful stewards of the IP He entrusted to us.
• We recognize God uses all kinds of people to pass along His message to the world. No country, race, organization or individual has “exclusivity” on Biblical Stewardship teachings. We will seek to identify those leaders God is raising up around the globe and embrace those individuals to run the race the Lord has placed before them.
• We believe God will provide all the resources necessary to carry out His will through the ministry of Crown Financial Ministries around the world. We operate without debt because we believe God can provide all the funds needed to do His will before we start a given project. We believe that God shows His will both by providing and withholding funds.
• We will, like many other missionary organizations, be willing to share people and resources with others in order to advance the Kingdom.
